Yesterday i mentioned that a visit to Aggteleki Nemzeti Park could be a two-day trip and that there is a village just below the caves, so today i will show you the other places to see on your journey.
After you exit the cave you will more than likely be hungry. Of course, you could go to the restaurant on site, but those are usually more expensive and not as good as a smaller family run panzió (guesthouse).
i recommend Tengerszem Szálló located in a very small village, Jósvafő, which is hidden in the backyard of a house. It is actually a hotel of sorts.
There is a little stream in front of the house which was really nice and peaceful. Do not look for real parking or big signs. Just be sure to bring your appetite and your best friend to share the adventure of Hungary.
