#237 John Prine – John Prine

I did not know anything about John Prine before listening to this album. He is a country folk singer. He is still alive. That seems to be a miracle and this is his first album. His songs tend to be filled with humour and politics.

The first song “Illegal Smile” made me think of Bob Dylan, but that was only briefly. He turned his voices and sound into country after a few seconds.

This is one of the worst albums I have ever heard. His voice sucks. His music sounds like a millions cats were being torture by his singing. This was one of the longest 44 minutes of my life. 0/10.

…and i hate writing about myself. It feels awkward.
