Pink Moon is the third and final album from Nick Drake. This is a story of a battle of depression and a war lost. This will be the easiest review of all. This is a beautiful album from Drake. This album makes me feel so sad. It is a travesty this was his last album. I am happy that he did what he wanted and scaled back everything to make a simple album of vocals and guitar.
It I were to have any complaint it would be that the album is too short and he seems to end songs abruptly at times.
My favourite songs are “Pink Moon” and “Place To Be“.
I highly recommend this album, but it might cause sadness, especially for those of us who suffer from depression. 10/10.
