Gil Scott-Heron/Brian Jackson‘s Winter in America is an album of 70s jazz, soul and blues mixed into a story of the inner city. I know of Scott-Heron because of his most famous song “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised“. The album will not be played on Spotify.

I like the music better than the vocals. He vocals are not good at all. He should stick to jazz music and hired vocalists. I was bored all the way through. I will rate him a little better because of the music. He also makes it sound like Africa is a better place to live than USA. I guess he did not know about the starvation in Africa. 5/10.

…and i hate writing about myself. It feels awkward.
