#362 The Penguin Cafe Orchestra – Music from The Penguin Cafe

The Penguin Cafe Orchestra bring you Music from The Penguin Cafe. A strange bird indeed. I never knew there was music like this in the 70s. It is hard to describe. It is labeled as Instrumental folk on Wikipedia, but I think that does not completely describe it. It is also mostly ambient and noise and bizarre.

Penguin Cafe Single” goes all over the place, but it eventually gets to the a great place to rest for a bit.

All the songs are pretty good, but one song stands out the most “The sound of someone you love who’s going away and it doesn’t matter“. It is so beautiful and sad. For me it always matters. I cannot let go those whom I love so easily. I feel sadness inside forever. I miss my best friend so much. I will never get over until I die.

This is a great album if you like music without lyrics. It has a song or two with some lyrics, but the rest is instrumental. I think it is amazing, especially when there isn’t any singing. 9.5/10.
