#364 Ramones – Ramones

The Ramones are often called the first punk rock band. All the members took on the last name Ramone. One member was Hungarian, Tommy Ramone, but he was actually Jewish. His family left during the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. All of the original members are dead.

Best songs are: “Blitzkrieg Bop“, “Beat on the Brat“, “Judy Is a Punk“, “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend“, “Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue“, and “53rd & 3rd“.

Overall, I like the album, but it does start to sound all the same after a bit. Fortunately, the songs are all very short. Quick and fast. That is the best way to describe the band and their songs. 8.5/10.

…and i hate writing about myself. It feels awkward.
