The Sex Pistols‘ Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols is one of the albums I bought when I started buying albums in the 80s. For some reason I have not heard it in years. It will be like listening to it the first time. This is the album that sparked the rage in so many young people.
It really was like listening to the album for the first time. I had forgotten almost all of the songs. My favourite songs are “Submission“, “Holidays in the Sun” and “New York“, but I like every song. The album has not lost its angst of my youthful days. I have not lost my angst either. I am still that teenager in my head. I still have the same sadness and the same feelings of being alone. I remember driving around with a friend and we used to listening to this album. The passion in this album never dies. 10/10.
