#401 Elvis Costello – This Year’s Model

This Year’s Model is the first album of Elvis Costello to have the band The Attractions. I do not expect this to be much different than his previous album. His voice is the same on all the songs.

I was correct that this is similar to his previous album. The songs to check out are “This Year’s Girl“, “The Beat“, “Pump It Up“, “Hand in Hand“, and “Living in Paradise“.

If you heard the previous album and you enjoyed it, then you will probably feel the same about this one. Costello does not drift far from his formula. 7/10.
