#413 Talking Heads – More Songs About Buildings and Food

Talking Heads’ More Songs About Buildings and Food is not an album I know, but I do know of the hit from it. This is the album that put the Heads on the road to somewhere. David Byrne has an undeniably unique voice. It was produced by Brian Eno who is the master of sounds.

Songs to listen to: all, maybe with the exception of “The Girls Want to Be with the Girls” and “Artists Only”. Neither song is terrible, but they were my least favourites.

This is a fun album to listen to if you want to feel a bit upbeat. It does end on a bit of a downer. I would have moved “The Big Country” to the middle so it could end on a dance beat. I would definitely add this album to a collection. 9.5/10.
