Steve Winwood has been around a few years at this point in his career, but Arc Of A Diver set him on the path of a true solo artist. He played all the instruments on the album. I had no idea that he was so talented.
“While You See a Chance” is the first song that I ever heard from Winwood, but I had forgotten it.
The only other good song is “Arc of a Diver”.
This is mostly a mellow album. It feels like it is from the late 70s, which is not necessarily a bad thing. The 70s had some of the best music. I feel that some of the songs do not make a connection to me. Winwood is definitely talented. 6/10.
