#479 Siouxsie And The Banshees – Juju

Siouxsie And The Banshees‘s Juju is their fourth album. It is considered a landmark post-punk album. I have never heard it. I did not really listen to them until later in the 80s.

I am not sure how this is a landmark album of post-punk. I think most of the ones I have heard prior to it have been better.

But then I heard “Monitor” and I thought this has more potential. I think I prefer when they are more upbeat. Other songs I like are “Sin in My Heart” and “Voodoo Dolly”.

Overall, I could listen to the album easily, but it is not one that I would return to as easily. I like it, but I rather listen to the songs that I liked above and skip the rest. 6.5/10.
