#480 Heaven 17 – Penthouse and Pavement

Heaven 17 is just another band that I have heard of their name, but not their music. Penthouse and Pavement is their first album.

From the beginning of the first song “(We Don’t Need This) Fascist Groove Thang”, I thought this might suck. It is so repetitive. I hated it. I really dislike pretentious lyrics.

As it droned on I lost any hope that I would like it. It sounded so dated. This was what was bad in the 80s. How did anyone think this was worth putting on a list of the best of all album? This is literally one of the worst albums I have heard from the 80s. 3/10.

…and i hate writing about myself. It feels awkward.
