#484 Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark – Architecture & Morality

Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark is one of the best bands of the early 80s. I have love their sound since the first time I heard them. Architecture & Morality is their third album. It is their most groundbreaking album. This album influenced many artist of the 80s.

I remember the first time I was introduced to O.M.D. It was a guy that I met through a mutual friend and it was brief encountered. I do not remember his name or the exact circumstances of the rendez-vous, but he played one of their albums and I became a fan.

This album is perfect. Although I like every song, my favourites are “She’s Leaving“, “Souvenir“, “Sealand“, and “Joan of Arc (Maid of Orleans)“.

Go to Spotify and listen to this album. It is awesome! Their vocals and music is what heaven must sound like, at least for me. My only complaint is that it is too short. 10/10.
