Bauhaus was a band that I listened to in my youthful days. This is my type of music. They have influenced so many artists and bands throughout the years. Mask is their second album. I am surprised their first one In the Flat Field, which I owned, did not make the list.
My favourite song on the album is “Hollow Hills“. I really liked the dark sound of it.
Other songs I like are “Of Lillies and Remains“, “Kick in the Eye”, “Mask”, and “Earwax“, which was added to the CD version.
I like this album a lot, but I prefer their darker sounds like on “Bela Lugosi’s Dead“. It is one of my favourite songs of all-time. This album has a variety of feelings on it and I think Peter Murphy’s vocals are perfect for this music. 9/10.
