#501 Kevin Rowland & Dexys Midnight Runners – Too-Rye-Ay

Kevin Rowland & Dexys Midnight Runners released their second album Too-Rye-Ay in 1982. They are known as one hit wonders in the US, but they are for more hits in the UK. Sadly the whole album is not on Spotify. I had to search for it on YouTube.

One of my favourite songs ever is “Come On Eileen“. I love the Rowland’s vocals and the beautiful music. I love how the song goes from a slow tempo and gets faster and faster.

Other great songs are “The Celtic Soul Brothers“, “Let’s Make This Precious“, “All in All (This One Last Wild Waltz)”, “I’ll Show You“, and I kind of liked “Plan B“.

This album is so much better than their debut album. Rowland’s voice is not as irritating and the music is much better. I wish it was on Spotify. 7.9/10.
