Kate Bush‘s The Dreaming is her fourth studio album. It received mixed reviews when it was released, but critics today rate it highly. It is considered her most uncommercial and experimental release. I have doubts from the beginning. She is one artist that I can hate and like.
The first song gives me little hope of liking this album. I hate when she sings in that weird voice. It drives me mad.
Unfortunately this is one of the times I cannot handle her voice. It is all just too weird and nonsensical to me. I might have been in a terrible mood when I listened to this album. None of the songs called my name. She makes me miss early Tori Amos. 4/10.
