#509 The Birthday Party – Junkyard

The Birthday Party is one of the bands from Australia that I have never heard of before today. Their third album Junkyard was inspired by American Southern Gothic imagery, which is extremely disturbing.

Unfortunately I hate Nick Cave‘s vocals. I do not have a problem with the music. I like post-punk. This really sucked. I could not find one redeeming song. He screams too much. 1/10.

…and i hate writing about myself. It feels awkward. See, this crap is rather boring. i moved here from Budapest, Hungary four years ago, well, actually that is sort of a lie. i was living in Lyon, France one year before i moved to Colorado and before that Hungary. i like to travel or move. i keep moving… i have many interest besides moving: writing, watching, taking, listening and reading (stories, films, photographs, music and books).
