Def Leppard is one rock band that I was a huge fan of in the 80s. It was a minor infatuation with their second album High ‘n’ Dry and it grew with the release of their third album Pyromania.
This album had three hit songs for me: “Photograph“, “Foolin’“, and “Rock of Ages“. I can say that before I listen to it. I like them equally.
I am not as familiar with the rest of the album. I was not an album buyer at this point in my life. Actually, I did buy a few albums, but I was very selective. The other songs that I liked after listening were “Too Late for Love“, “Stagefright”, and “Billy’s Got a Gun“.
This is a great album from Def Leppard, but it will be surpassed by their next album, at least in sales. This album has a somewhat softer rock sound than their previous ones, but it still rocks hard. I think the whole album is amazing so give it a listen. 9.5/10.
