Paul Simon again? He seems overrated to me. Hearts and Bones is his sixth solo album. I guess somebody thinks he should be overly represented on the list of 1001 Albums...
The first song “Allergies” was quite ridiculous. I wondered how did anyone think this was good. I often wonder when I listen to a great artist, not Simon, and they have some really horrible songs on their album. Do they have honest friends who speak truth? Probably not.
The only song that I thought was worth listening to was the title song.
The album is not as bad I think it is, but it is rather boring to me. I would never listen to the whole thing again. Once is enough. I would also say that the album cover is one of the worst ever. 6/10.
