#610 Terence Trent D’Arby – Introducing the Hardline According to Terence Trent D’Arby

Terence Trent D’Arby‘s Introducing the Hardline According to Terence Trent D’Arby is an album I totally passed on when it was released in 1987. I have not heard his name mentioned since 1988. I never knew anyone who actually liked his music. I based my dislike for his music on his hit song “Wishing Well“. I thought it sucked hard.

He had other boring songs that we hits, such as “Sign Your Name” and “Dance Little Sister“. The worst song on the album is “As Yet Untitled”. It was painful to listen to and I thought it would never end.

After listening to the album, I have not changed my opinion. Actually, my opinion is even stronger. This album was so boring and repetitive. I guess D’Arby thought so too because he changed his name to Sananda Francesco Maitreya and has been releasing music under his new moniker. I am not sure that will make his music better. But good luck to you. 3/10.
