Spacemen 3 were an English band in the 80s who were known for “minimalistic psychedelia” Playing with Fire was their third album. They were also known as the ‘drug band’. They released one more album after their breakup in 1991. This album is not on Spotify, but you can find it on YouTube in its entirety.
Songs that I liked were “How Does It Feel?“, “I Believe It“, “So Hot (Wash Away All of My Tears)”, “Lord Can You Hear Me?“, and the extremely long “Suicide“. I think I would have liked it better if it was a little shorter or changed tempo midway. Maybe it was supposed to induce suicide in the listener.
This album has an oldie modern sound to it. I actually liked almost all of it, especially the music. I hated listening to it on YouTube. I could not add the songs that I liked to my list and it was harder to pay attention to what I liked. 8.9/10.
