#647 The Stone Roses – The Stone Roses

The Stone Roses released their self-titled debut album in 1989. It was part of the Madchester scene. I remember their name, but I am not sure that I ever heard their music. Critics have given the album high praises.

How did I never hear “I Wanna Be Adored“? I really like this song. Wow.

“Waterfall” was the fourth single released. It is a mellow song.

Lead singer Ian Brown has had a successful solo career and he made a cameo appearance in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

The whole album is incredibly great. I am surprised that I had never heard it until now. I actually listened to the 30th Anniversary release, which is three or four albums. I forgot to stop it when the original album was done. It was worth it. 10/10.
