#659 De La Soul – 3 Feet High and Rising

De La Soul‘s debut album 3 Feet High and Rising is not on Spotify. I do not understand it, even Prince is on Spotify now. Anyway, it is their debut album. This was something different than the other rap around. It was critically acclaimed and commercially successful.

I liked the hip hop version of “The Magic Number” my favourite childhood song on the telly. I also liked “Change in Speak“, “Ghetto Thang”, “Transmitting Live from Mars“, “Eye Know“, “Say No Go“, and “Buddy“.

Unfortunately, I could not add any songs to my Spotify list. This album was really good, but I do not know which songs I liked best because I find it hard to listen to albums on YouTube. I start doing other work while I enjoy the album and I drift away so I went through it twice. I think my least favourite song was the hit “Me Myself and I“. I thought the rest of the album was much better than the their one hit. 8.10.
