Megadeth‘s Rust In Peace is their fourth studio album and their second album on the list of 1001 Albums… This album was universally acclaimed and often listed as one of the best thrash metal albums ever. I was not impressed with their music on the last album so I have my doubts. Lead singer Dave Mustaine has been everything from a conjuring of black magic to a born-again Christian. I would imagine that kind of life would make his music more interesting. I am surprised they are so popular with Mustaine being so outspoken against gay marriage and gays in general. Honestly, I think everyone should have the right to be who they really are and speak how they want to speak. Let the public decide to support them with their money.
As for the music; it sucks. I mostly hate the vocals. I was really bored with this album. How is this even popular? 4/10.
