#697 A Tribe Called Quest – The Low End Theory

Another album from A Tribe Called Quest made the list. It is their second one on the list and their second studio album The Low End Theory. The debut was better than most of the rap I have had to listen to so far. I think the infusion of jazz makes it more pleasant to listen to.

The references are really dated now. I think they even mentioned Arsenio Hall. I do not think people remember him now. He is kind of like Eddie Murphy, a has-been. I thought this was so boring. I cannot imagine who thought this was a great album. 1/10.

…and i hate writing about myself. It feels awkward.
