#706 Teenage Fanclub – Bandwagonesque

I do not think I have ever heard Teenage Fanclub’s music. Bandwagonesque is their third album. This album beat out Nirvana‘s Nevermind as album of the year according to Spin magazine.

The first song that grabbed me was the last song on the album “Is This Music?“. It is a beautiful instrumental. They should have made more songs like it. I thought perhaps I do not like the vocals so I listened to the album again. “Guiding Star” is okay too.

I did not find this album exceptional at all. It felt like old music of the 60s done in the 90s. I was not a huge fan of the 60s so that probably explains why I was not a fan of this album. 5/10.
