#710 Arrested Development – 3 Years, 5 Months and 2 Days in the Life Of…

Arrested Development‘s 3 Years, 5 Months and 2 Days in the Life Of… is an album that I owned in 1992 when it was released. We used to listen to it at work often. Southern hip-hop without the filthy language and derogatory views on women was something new, but has since disappeared into the world of triggered people who are angry about everything except rap music.

My favourite songs are “People Everyday“, “Mr. Wendal“, and “Tennessee“. I like all the vocals, especially

The rest of the album is alright, but in my humble opinion most rap music does not hold up well over the years. Fortunately, it is the type of album that you can play and sort of drift away into. Maybe that is unfortunate for an album. 6.9/10.
