#729 Alice in Chains – Dirt

Alice in Chains is one of those groups I have heard of more than I have actual heard. They were one of the biggest selling acts of the 90s and their second album Dirt is their biggest selling album to date. I was more into Nirvana for my grunge fix.

I would say that this is not a terrible album at all, but I would not listen to it again. If you played it and I was sitting in the car, then I would not scream for you to turn it off. I would never request it. The music is better than the singing. I remember having a roommate who knew vocalist Layne Staley many years ago. I think for me to really like this type of music I have to love the vocals. 5/10.

…and i hate writing about myself. It feels awkward.
