I was a fan of Aimee Mann when she first hit the scene in ’til tuesday. I bought all three of their albums. I was a but sad that they parted ways. I also bought Mann’s first solo effort Whatever. She has recorded nine studio albums as of 2017.
My favourite songs are “I Should’ve Known“, “4th of July“, “Could’ve Been Anyone“, “I Could Hurt You Now” and most of the other songs are on the album.
I think Whatever was a great album from Mann. She has never had huge hits as a solo artist. I believe she is one of the highly underrated artist of her time. She has a great voice, thoughtful lyrics and catchy music. Unfortunately (or fortunately), she does not dance and take off her clothes so she goes unnoticed by the radio. 9/10.
