#743 Jamiroquai – Emergency on Planet Earth

Jamiroquai is one of the 90s bands that I have heard and I have always thought they suck. I never liked lead singer Jay Kay’s vocals. Their debut release Emergency on Planet Earth was not an album I would ever buy. I thought the British funk/acid jazz band tried too hard.

As I suspected, I hated this album. The vocals are so terrible and the sound is a rip-off of the 70’s black music. One reviewer claimed it was better than anything Stevie Wonder has done since 1980s Hotter than July. I am not a fan of Wonder’s, but I think he is better than this crap. 1/10.

…and i hate writing about myself. It feels awkward.
