Wu-Tang Clan‘s debut album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) is something I never listened to and never wanted to listen to. I never liked hip-hop and the more I hear it now, the more I hate it. It might be worse than country. Okay, that was a joke. Or is it? I made a commitment to listen to all 1001 Albums so of course I will do it. Maybe one day one of these hip-hop albums or artists will surprise me.
As I understand things in the world, black people do not want white people to say the word nigger. Yet, in all the songs on this album and many other albums say it a lot, i mean a lot. Are they saying they do not want white people to buy their music or sing it. If you are white, you will need to skip every other song. I buy music to sing along and to escape. This one failed. 0/10.
