#753 Sebadoh – Bubble & Scrape

Sorry, but I have never heard of Sebadoh. Which is odd, since I was always going into cd shops in the early 90s and I was into indie rock. Bubble & Scrape was their fourth album and final album with founding member Eric Gaffney. Surprisingly, the band released a new album last year.

I think if I had heard this album in 1993, then I might have liked it. Today, in 2020, it sounds generic to me. I did like “Elixir Is Zog“. It was a bit different.

Overall, I see no reason to revisit this album after today. I think they could be removed from 1001 Albums You Need To Hear Before You Die and nobody would miss it. 4/10.

…and i hate writing about myself. It feels awkward.
