Jeru The Damaja‘s debut album The Sun Rises In The East is another album that is for those who love hip hop. I do not. Supposedly, it was instrumental in reviving revival the East Coast hip hop scene and critics praised the album. There was not much about it on Wikipedia.
Overall, the music was decent, but I think most hip hop sounds the same. I hated all the lyrics. I believe the artist is a misogynist. I am not much a politically correct guy, but this album sucks on many levels. My advice is to skip it and let it die in the 90s. 2/10.
