#760 Pavement – Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain

I used to listen to Pavement back in the 90s. I am not sure why Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain was the last album of theirs I listened to. Maybe I did not like it as much as their previous stuff so I gave up on the band.

I think this album is good, but if I remember correctly I prefer their previous album Slanted and Enchanted. My favourite songs are “Range Life”, “Silence Kid”, “Cut Your Hair“, and “Hit the Plane Down”, although there are other good songs.

I recommend this album, but I also recommend that you compare it to their first one. It might be a downer for some. it is indie rock or whatever that means. If you listen on Spotify they have a longer version of the album from 2004. There are some good songs on the longer version. 8/10.
