#772 Blur – Parklife

Blur again. This time it is an album that I am more familiar with or at least I remember and liked Parklife more than Modern Life Is Rubbish. Their third studio album returned them to the height of fame.

I definitely like “Girls & Boys“. It has more of the British pop dance sound to it. My other favourites are “To the End“, “This Is a Low”, “Badhead“, a few others, which you can listen to on my Spotify account.

Overall, I feel this album was a step closer the the Blur that I came to like in the late 90s and beyond. Damon Albarn is truly talented as a singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist. And let’s not forget Graham Coxon is one of the greatest guitarist. If you like Blur, then you will love most of this album. 8/10.
