#780 Jeff Buckley – Grace

Jeff Buckley‘s debut album Grace was the only album he released before his death. At the time it was released it was not successful and the critics were mixed on it. Now, it is considered one of the greatest albums of all time. Unfortunately, Buckley never knew that. I have never listened to it.

Trivia: Buckley’s father Tim Buckley was a singer and songwriter also and he died from a heroin overdose at the age of 28. Jeff Buckley’s death was ruled an accidental drowning at the age of 30.

Oh why have I missed listening to this album until today. Buckley’s voice is so passionate and beautiful. He conveys all the pain I harbour inside my head and heart through his lyrics and at times his high falsetto voice. This album is beautiful and romantic and sad. I will not point out any song because I think it is worth listening to all of them. 10/10.
