#790 Raekwon – Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…

I can tell I will have Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… from rap artist Raekwon. I have never heard of him, but mafioso rap sounds like a terrible idea. The album features many members of Wu-Tang Clan and was meant to be loosely composed to play like a film.

Only one song “Can It Be All So Simple (Remix)” was interesting. They used samples of Gladys Knight & the Pips’ cover of “The Way We Were”. I am a fan of Gladys Knight.

This album is worse than many other gangsta rap albums. It wants to pretend it is much more, but really it is silly. I cannot recommend this album at all. Some of the music was okay, but mostly I hated this album. 3/10.

…and i hate writing about myself. It feels awkward.
