#799 Femi Kuti – Femi Kuti

I swear I have heard Femi Kuti before this album. Maybe there is someone else on the list with a similar name. I already know I will not like this eponymous debut album from the Nigerian musician.

After listening, I have not changed my mind. I do not like African music. I cannot put my finger on it yet, but one day I will figure it out. Perhaps, it all sounds the same to me. The drum beats, the afrobeat genre does not move me. This is not the worst album I have heard of this genre. I might even say it is one of the better ones. 4/10.
