#810 Fatboy Slim – Better Living Through Chemistry

Here is a twist I did not expect. Fatboy Slim is neither fat nor is he black and he is not a rapper. I missed out on his music because his stage name lead me to believe it was not my type of music. His debut album Better Living Through Chemistry was released in 1996 and charted outside the U.K.

Some of the best songs are “Song for Lindy”, “Santa Cruz“, “Michael Jackson”, and “Next to Nothing”.

This album is an electronic music feast of dance tunes, but unfortunately it contains quite a few misses. Perhaps in 1996 this would have fared better with me, but today it feels dated. 6/10.
