#816 DJ Shadow – Endtroducing…..

Another artist I have not heard of is DJ Shadow, who released his debut album in Endtroducing….. 1996. His music is mostly sampled music known as sampledelia.

The songs that I liked were “What Does Your Soul Look Like (Part 4)”, “Building Steam with a Grain of Salt”, “Changeling” / “Transmission 1”, and “Stem/Long Stem” / “Transmission 2”.

Overall, I think it is an interesting album, but I was not completely invested in it because of the hip hop aspects of it. I preferred the more quiet moments in the music. I like ambient music. 5.5/10.

…and i hate writing about myself. It feels awkward.
