Manic Street Preachers‘ Everything Must Go is their second album on the list. I was not greatly impressioned with the first one, but minds are made to be changed. This is their first album after the disappearance of lyricist and rhythm guitarist Richey Edwards. It is a bit funny that two albums in a row lost a band member. Edwards had written some of the songs before he disappeared.
After finding their album Holy Bible somewhere in the middle, I had hoped to like this one a bit better, especially since the critics loved it. I did not like it. It felt extremely generic. I would skip this album if I were you. 4/10.
