Radiohead did the same thing as Blur in 1997. Both bands moved away from Britpop. Radiohead became more alternative and more art rock. OK Computer their third album was when I paid more attention to them.
My favourite songs are “Let Down”, “Karma Police“, “Climbing Up the Walls”, “No Surprises”, “The Tourist”, and “Lucky”. I actually like the whole album so I added it all to my Spotify list.
Overall, I like the album, but I came away feeling it was overhyped. I can hear all the influences of the bands before Radiohead, such as Pink Floyd, The Smiths, Queen, Joy Division, and many others. It is good that Thom Yorke’s vocals are somewhat unique. 9/10.
