Buena Vista Social Club released their eponymous album in 1997. I can tell you that even I heard of this one. I can also let you know I hate. I am not a fan of Spanish music, even if it comes from Cuba.
At this point I have to type more words to describe this album I hate. Maybe hate is a strong word. I have never liked the Spanish language. I have not particular reason why I dislike it. I just do. Let me state that this does not reflect the Spanish people. I like all the ones I have met. I have had friends from Spanish speaking countries too, but I spoke to them in English or French. The language does not sound beautiful to me.
The album was only a little bit better than I had imagined it would be. The music was okay. The singing not so much. It was painful. 2/10.
