#856 Roni Size / Reprazent – New Forms

Drum and Bass group Roni Size / Reprazent debut album New Forms was released in 1997.

I did not like the songs with singing on them.

I liked “Brown Paper Bag“, but I wish it had been a bit shorter. That is my wish for almost all of the songs. Side One had too many songs with vocals and I thought the vocals were boring.

My favourite song was probably “Hot Stuff“. It was more atmospheric than the rest of the songs. I felt as though I was in a dream world.

I recommend this album if you like Drum and Bass. It is good to go back in time to hear an album that changed music. Side Two was definitely better than Side One. 7/10.
