Whenever I see Bob Dylan‘s name I wonder if I should even listen to it. I can skip listening to it now and score it over a 9 out of 10. It would save time. Of course, I will not skip it. There is a minor probably with Dylan’s album The Bootleg Series Vol. 4: Bob Dylan Live 1966, The “Royal Albert Hall” Concert; it is live. I am not a fan of live albums.
If you could remove the clapping, then I would say this is an incredible album. I cannot explain why I like Dylan so much now. He voice speaks to me.
In my opinion, this album should not be on the list of 1001 Albums... because it is like a greatest hits album. I prefer the acoustic side. It is so mellow. Yet, the electric set on Disk two is equally great. I highly recommend this album for all of Dylan’s fans. This isn’t one bad song. 9.9/10.
