OK from record producer Talvin Singh was released toward the end of 1998. He is known for working with Madonna, Massive Attack, Björk, and many others. His music infuses Indian classical with techno. I have never heard of him. I am not a fan of Indian music. I don’t hate it; I just rather not listen to it.
Overall, this album is not as bad as I thought it would be. Thankfully, the techno helped make the Indian music more modern and appealing to the ear.
I liked a few songs such as, Butterfly”, “Disser/Point.Mento.B”, and the overly long “Traveller”. I would only listen to these three songs unless you really love Indian music. 5/10.
