Korn is another band I have heard of, but I never took the time to listen to their music. If you remember from my other reviews I was on a journey from 1996 until 2000. I stopped listening to the radio. I went on a spiritual quest. I missed out on a lot of music and I never really forced myself to catch up on what I missed. Follow the Leader was Korn’s third album and it was the one that made them successful. It is nu-metal, but I am not sure what that sounds like.
I really hoped to like this one. The 90s kind of sucked. To be honest, I really liked the music. The music was great, but I did not like singer Jonathan Davis voice. I wonder if there is a band who has this music, but a better vocalist.
Overall, if you like nu-metal and subpar vocals, then this is the album for you. I liked the artwork for the album too. It was creative. 5/10.
