#879 Kid Rock – Devil Without a Cause

I have heard of Kid Rock. The only thing I know about him is that he is some kind of redneck. He released his fourth album Devil Without a Cause in 1998. He received more commercial and critical acclaim. He refined his sound using rap metal, hard rock, nu metal, and rap rock sound, while leaving behind hip hop. Surprisingly, he has braided hair on the cover of the album. If he did that today, the cancel culture would make him change it.

I thought as I listened to the first song “Bawitdaba” that this might be interesting. I was wrong. It went downhill after the first song. One redneck song a day is more than I can handle. The other problem is that the album is way too long. 3/10.

…and i hate writing about myself. It feels awkward.
