I have heard of Common and I appreciate the fact that he makes music, but I have never listened to it. Like Water For Chocolate is his fourth studio album, but first major release.
I had already hated the album and finished the review when “Geto Heaven Part Two” came on. I liked this one, but only for one reason: Macy Gray. I love her voice. It is extremely distinctive.
This album is just what you expect from a hip hop album. Vulgar language. Most of the songs on the album have explicit lyrics. I think they think it is cool to be disgusting. I think if the BLM want to cancel something, then they should cancel all the albums that use the word nigger. If I cannot use a word, then why would you put in your music which you want me to buy? Pass. 3/10.
