#952 The Flaming Lips – Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots

I have definitely heard of the The Flaming Lips. I even had a copy of their tenth album Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots.

“Fight Test”, “Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell”, “In the Morning of the Magicians”, “Are You a Hypnotist??”, “Do You Realize??”, and all the other songs on the album are my favorites.

This is another great album from The Flaming Lips. I love the sound of dream pop, space rock, and neo-psychedelia mixed on one album. It really is dreamy. I felt the sadness of many of the songs. I highly recommend this album. It had aged well. 10/10.

…and i hate writing about myself. It feels awkward.
